My advice is to avoid the Heartbeat CRM style and use the v1 configuration style, which works just fine with Heartbeat v2 and DRBD 8. We tried the CRM and found it to be overly complex and inadequately documented. The v1 conffig "just works" as Lars says. So, unless you absolutely need some feature of the CRM that is not supported in v1 configs, stick to v1.
