that is probably the way to go.

btw, I think you _could_ even have both installed in parallel, as
long as the user space tools reside in different places, and the module
is named differently (drbd6, drbd7; would be weird, though).

drbd7 user space tools (drbdadm) prefer
/etc/drbd-07.conf over /etc/drbd.conf,
if it exists.
