[DRBD-user] Is it possible to override uname -n with hosts entry on version 8.x

I'm in an odd predicament where the uname -n can change (at least short
term) from the server name to the full FQDN during reboots to the server.
Is it possible to simply put the FQDN into the hosts file and have that
override the value from uname -n or will DRBD only look at uname -n's value?
