That is pretty easy, there is no special Linbit <-> Debian channel or what ever. We upstream kernel changes regularly and if there is something critical, we follow kernel practices, and "CC stable". Debian then does whatever they do. (Debian user myself and I think they do a good job). For user space we are one of thousands of other projects where downstream ($distribution) does whatever they feel like. Maybe they backport things, maybe not. Maybe they do it on their own, maybe you need to file a bugreport. They hopefully care about their distribution, read release notes, maybe even commit messages, and don't ship buggy software. We care about our customers and package for them. Regards, rck
