Hello, I plan to build a DRBD replication protocol C between two storage servers (between 3 when DRBD 9 will be production ready, of perhaps using stacked resources). Each server will have up to 36 4TB disks, DRBD will be on top of hard raid array(s). 10Gbps network connection. However, I don't exactly know how many raid arrays (so how many DRBD resources) to configure. Of course, not only one, because if I encounter a full raid array disaster, re-synchronization time of the failed DRBD resource would be too long. Goal would be to have quite small raid arrays so that in case of a full raid array disaster, re-synchronization of the failed DRBD resource would be fast. The question is, up to how many concurrent DRBD resources can be running ? Is there any drawback that could be encountered ? Do you have any experience with this ? Thank you very much ! Best regards, Ben
