Hi Everyone, After digging around more on my server performance issue it looks like the latency the NICs I.m using are giving a big part of the problem. Using netperf I.m seeing a round trip latency on the network of about 70 microseconds. This seems quite high for some back-to-back 10Gbe NICs. Can others post some latency numbers for 10Gbe networks and what brand of NIC their using? # netperf -t TCP_RR -H <targethost> -l 60 -C -c -v 2 -- -r 512,512 -s 256K -S 256K Local /Remote Socket Size Request Resp.
