Whats the RTT on this link? You should perform this test: http://www.drbd.org/users-guide/s-measure-latency.html and compare the result to disconnected operation. If you measure a large difference, protocol A can probably help your issues. If you are bandwidth-limited, you will need DRBD proxy. Cheers, Felix
