In a thread last October (split-brain after trying to verify?) Lars Ellenberg said: "You adjusted network parameters (verify-alg), which we still cannot do while keeping the connection. So your first "adjust" to add the verify-alg had to disconnect ; then reconnect with new parameters. Don't do that while both are Primary." I found that tidbit while my first online verify was running for three hours. I'd added verify-alg md5 to my common sections and adjust all on both nodes (which are Primary/Primary 8.3.7). The verify found some out-of-sync blocks, so I need to detach/attach on the node that initiated the verify. If I hear something better to do in the next few hours, I may change my plan. If not, I guess I'll clone both drbd virtual machines, build some test disks, modify the clones to use the test disks, new IPs and new hostnames, attach them to some second-level ESXi hosts and create VMFS filesystems, recreate the situation and try the detach/attach and see what happens. Probably it will work fine<g>. Anyone, any thoughts?
