Should I go for 10gbit (e.g. Intel 10 > Gigabit CX4 Dual Port Server Adapter) or the Dolphin DXH510 adapters? i built a setup using 10gig ethernet that seemed to work well. but i had trouble with the intel dual cx4 adapter i had (supermicro stg-i2 w/ intel 82598eb). the drbd sync would just hang at random times and i would have to stop drbd, unload the modules for drbd and network, and reload stuff to get things working again. what i did get working was using chelsio N320E-CXA adapters. they were about the same price and did the job. i can't speak to the dolphin gear or other options. the one that intrigues me is using infiniband for the drbd connection. i know some people on the list do that. > > Thanks in advance, np. hope it is helpful. mike
