Note: "permalinks" may not be as permanent as we would like,
direct links of old sources may well be a few messages off.

Mhmh
You did perhaps give me some new investigation ways.
drbdadm says it uses 8.0.12 (good node) and 8.0.14 (reinstalled node).
Though, I have tried so many thing that the module version might not be
the same as utils version.
Seems it loads module from the kernel 2.6.26 sources
(/lib/modules/2.6.26-2-686/kernel/drivers/block/drbd.ko). After an
apt-get install drbd8-modules...., a new drbd.ko is installed in
/lib/modules/2.6.26-2-686/extra/drbd8/drbd/drbd.ko
Is there anyway to know the module version ? do the module and the utils
version have to be the same ? on both nodes ? would that explain the
logs not fitting with a single version ?

And resulted in what version?

Anyways. Some lines in your posted log excerpt did not quite fit
together for a single drbd version, that's why I asked.

It would be supposed to work in your versions, too, actually.

"Interessting" that it aparently does not.
