[DRBD-user] Problem (Total-Crash) with XFS on LVM2 on DRBD. Reason or Solution?

Note: "permalinks" may not be as permanent as we would like,
direct links of old sources may well be a few messages off.

So. Your filesystem got shredded. And you believe your shredded
filesystem in turn shredded or PV, or otherwise all LVs in that VG?
Interesting theory.

And you gave us washed logs, because you posted two log "excerpts" with
exactly identical stack traces, except your host name purports to be
"fileserver" once, and "superserver" the next time. Not good. Washed
logs are usually rather useless for debugging.

And you are certain that it's your shredded XFS filesystem that is
causing you not so see any PVs on reboot? Not a screwed up "filter"
expression in your lvm.conf? Not your initramfs-tools copying the wrong
lvm.conf into your initrd? Not a stale LVM cache file that your userland
tools are reading from, instead of the live devices? Not the fact that
perhaps your DRBD is in Secondary mode when you do pvscan, so LVM can't
find your PV signature?

Please elaborate.
