So. Your filesystem got shredded. And you believe your shredded filesystem in turn shredded or PV, or otherwise all LVs in that VG? Interesting theory. And you gave us washed logs, because you posted two log "excerpts" with exactly identical stack traces, except your host name purports to be "fileserver" once, and "superserver" the next time. Not good. Washed logs are usually rather useless for debugging. And you are certain that it's your shredded XFS filesystem that is causing you not so see any PVs on reboot? Not a screwed up "filter" expression in your lvm.conf? Not your initramfs-tools copying the wrong lvm.conf into your initrd? Not a stale LVM cache file that your userland tools are reading from, instead of the live devices? Not the fact that perhaps your DRBD is in Secondary mode when you do pvscan, so LVM can't find your PV signature? Please elaborate.
