I ran drbd on top of Redhat GFS but ran into the same problem with fencing and only having 2 nodes in the cluster. It looks like Redhat may have a solution for small clusters called QDisk but I haven't had time to play with it. http://www.redhatmagazine.com/2007/12/19/enhancing-cluster-quorum-with-qdisk/ Thanks Chris -----Original Message----- From: drbd-user-bounces at lists.linbit.com [mailto:drbd-user-bounces at lists.linbit.com] On Behalf Of Doug "superdug" Smith Sent: Thursday, May 01, 2008 10:17 AM To: drbd-user at lists.linbit.com Subject: [DRBD-user] GFS on top of DRBD Primary/Primary My apologies for the threadjack yesterday. What I would like to know, is anyone using GFS on top of DRBD? If so are you using the cluster tools inside of RHCS? Also, how do you mitigate a failure situation, more in reference to regaining Consistency and Fencing of a node? I have GFS running on DRBD without issue right now, but I am having trouble recovering from a network disconnect or reboot of a node in a mock failure situation. Is there a way with the GFS setup to keep one node online after a failure?
