Kernel panic While syncing Primary shows next dump but about a minute before sync starts we lost the connection with primary. System is running sarge-backports debian kernel 2.6.15 for i686 with SMP support but with only one processor. Is there any kernel compilation requirement to succesfully run drbd??? Servers are connected throught vtund tun tunnel with compression level 9 (zlib) and mtu=1450 People at datacenter tell us that console shows something like: drdb: sorry ... kernel panic not syncing:drdb0: Sorry I have no access to good data anymore cat /proc/drbd: version: 0.7.18 (api:78/proto:74) SVN Revision: 2176 build by root at raimunda, 2006-05-03 12:54:34 0: cs:SyncTarget st:Primary/Secondary ld:Inconsistent ns:0 nr:155008 dw:155008 dr:0 al:0 bm:10 lo:0 pe:25 ua:0 ap:0 [>...................] sync'ed: 0.3% (62983/63135)M finish: 16:30:03 speed: 1,056 (984) K/sec 1: cs:Unconfigured and secondary: cat /proc/drbd: version: 0.7.18 (api:78/proto:74) SVN Revision: 2176 build by root at ramona.ran.es, 2006-05-03 12:56:02 0: cs:SyncSource st:Secondary/Primary ld:Consistent ns:29164 nr:0 dw:0 dr:29224 al:0 bm:2 lo:15 pe:10 ua:15 ap:0 [>...................] sync'ed: 0.1% (63106/63135)M finish: 16:09:18 speed: 1,076 (1,004) K/sec 1: cs:Unconfigured Syslog dump on Primary after system restart: May 4 09:43:22 raimunda kernel: drbd: initialised.
