direct links of old sources may well be a few messages off.
With thunderbird simply use "reply all" rather than just reply and the mail will go to both the person who posted it originally and to the list. Now you should hit "reply all" and then remove the e-mail of the original person from the "To:" field so that that person does not get the message twice and change the "CC:" field to a "To:" field.
