Hmm, I se a similar thing with my mysql data files and just ignored it...
but thinking about it, I guess you ideally want Oracle to see not the
hostname of the local host but the hostname of your virtual ip in dns (ie.
if you failover an ip address, that should have an FQDN associated with it,
then when you failover the hostname will be the same). Does that sound
right?
