I think you will not get a speed increase because of the hard disk. To 
get get more, I think you will have to add more drives and stripe them. 
Then we should see a speed increase with the jumbo frames.

Having said that, the most important factor is that, with jumbo frames 
we use less cycles from the cpu. So more cycles for other apps. That is 
just great for me.
