[Csync2] installing on Fedora Core 4

It sounds like /usr/local/lib is not configured to be one of the places 
the shared library loader looks.  I don't have a redhat installation 
around, so I can't immediately point you to the solution, but take a 
look at the man page for ldconfig and the file /etc/ld.so.conf
