[DRBD-user] Does 8.3.x replace 8.0.x?

Note: "permalinks" may not be as permanent as we would like,
direct links of old sources may well be a few messages off.

In trying to compile 8.0.14 under 2.6.27-gentoo-r7 under x64, I get

/var/tmp/portage/sys-cluster/drbd-kernel-8.0.14/work/drbd-8.0.14/drbd/drbd_receiver.c:
In function 'drbd_alloc_ee':
/var/tmp/portage/sys-cluster/drbd-kernel-8.0.14/work/drbd-8.0.14/drbd/drbd_receiver.c:257:
error: 'struct bio' has no member named 'bi_hw_segments'

Will there be a 8.0.15 to address this or has that series been
abandoned for 8.3.x?

If upgrading is the only way forward on newer kernels, then is this
just mostly swapping of versions? That is, existing drbd volumes made
with 8.0.x will just work?
