I'm looking for something similar, but more in the sense of a live
replication between the two mail servers.
If I could use a groupware mailserver like eGroupware, Open-Xchange,
Scallix, Zimbra (my preferred option) - it would be awesome! How would one
set this up with DRBD, on say CentOS 5.1?

Thank you everyone for your insight into this.
Here is the config I would like to use...
Two mail servers with DRBD running on both... server
one sharing its queue with server two and visa versa.
If one server goes down in the midst of a crash, there
will still be a copy on the other server. So I can
just move the mail from the backed up block device to
the active Postfix queue and we didn't lose one single
That is my goal. Is this still an option?
