Hi.

Yes, the default for new installations changed with 0.7.2 from "MAC" to
"NO_SECURITY".
Upgrading from <0.7.2 to 0.7.2 or something higher will NOT change that
setting for you (more or less on purpose).

Currently there are some scenarios where you simply want to change that
setting to "NO_SECURITY", so feel free to do so.
