[DRBD-user] linstor image datastore and system datastore in opennebula

As a follow to the original post, I have found this information on the Linbit's website (https://www.linbit.com/en/how-setup-linstor-opennebula/)

  *   System datastore is used to store a small context image that stores all information needed to run a virtual machine (VM) on a node.
  *   Image datastore as it name reveals stores VM images.
Does the system datastore hold the VM context disk only (basically the context disk is a cdrom file) or also the running disks (OS disks and datablocks) of the VMs?

When I download new apps from the OpenNebula marketplace they are downloaded into the image datastore as per design described below.

When creating new instances, disks are also placed in the image datastore although a system datastore location is required.

I went through the documentation of opennebula and it describes the below datastore types:

*  The Images Datastore, stores the images repository. (the "golden" images")
*  The System Datastore holds disk for running virtual machines. Disk are moved, or cloned to/from the Images datastore when the VMs are deployed or terminated; or when disks are attached or snapshotted.

Why are the instance disks created also in the image datastore?
