Thanks for testing. I definitely have to see the PVE6 problems myself.
Because that is pretty weird, it should auto-promote on device access.

It uses the newer one (I was very late on bumping to 2), but IIRC they
recently jumped to 3, so I'm one behind again :). (And no, I don't know
if that could be related to the promotion problem, I did not look at
PVE6 or APIVER 3 at all).
