Hi,

just to warm up some older discussions; might your setup be using files opened with O_DIRECT? This allows the modification of buffers in-flight (read: changes while they are being sent to the peer) and is commonly used by some applications to bypass Linux' caching mechanisms.

If you are uncertain, tell us some details about the setup/application stack.

Regards,
// Veit

This definitely works, but then again few days later more OOS blocks are coming up when verify runs.

Dear DRBD community,

I was wondering if anyone has faced significant amount of out of sync blocks in DRBD 8.4.6 and how did they resolve such issues. I have tried to disabled LVM cache but situation remains the same. Would adding LVM filter make any difference?
