Sorry, you are out of luck,
9.0.1 will just make you unhappy.

"replication" is not "resynchronization".

There are a variety of different tunables for both real-time replication
and (initial- or) re-synchronization.  So your "resync" is going slow,
which likely means the defaults are unsuitable for your setup.

have a look for c-fill-target, max-buffers, c-min-rate, c-max-rate,
possibly send and receive buffer sizes.
