Hi Lars, Just Yesterday we improved the wording of this section and removed with that the term "commercial turn-key solutions". It reads now: ... 3.4) Without prior written consent of LICENSOR or an authorized partner, LICENSEE is not allowed to: a) use, copy or distribute the LICENSED SOFTWARE except as provided for under sections 3.1 and 3.2. b) provide software support or trainings for the LICENSED SOFTWARE or its modifications to any third party. ... [...] > Section 3.1 covers redistribution, 3.2 covers modification. > > 3.4.a. excludes all uses cases not explicitly covered in 3.1/3.2; 3.4.b > denies "commercial turn-key solutions" (a term it doesn't define), and > .f finally prohibits "renting or leasing", which could be read to > include operating a hosted solution. (And reacting to bugs in said > platform, which would constitute "support".) > > As a user of proxmox who has installed your 3rd party packages, what are > one's rights? We are fine with anyone operating a hosted solution on Proxmox VE where DRBD Manage is installed and used. We are fine with this party providing support for the hosted solution. Please see the DRBD Manage license FAQ as well: https://www.linbit.com/en/drbd-manage-faq/ regards, Phil
