I am still using Heartbeat but I am in a bit of a jiffy.
Our primary node host "01" recently had a full root-filesystem incident
that forces us to relocate the active node to host "02". The switch was
successful.
After housekeeping, we are prepared to swing back to host "01". To be on
the safe side, we stopped all services on host "02" and started it on "01".
The error we encountered was marked under "kernel" for DRBD mentioning that
the block devices are "bitmap WRITE of 0 pages took 0 jiffies" and "marked
out-of-sync by on disk bit-map".
However, the status from "cat /proc/drbd" both shows "Connected" and
"UpToDate" status on both nodes.
Numerous attempts failed and it was decided to start it back to host "02"
and it works like a charm.
I am wondering what may be the cause that it fails to start on host "01".
I hope someone are able to shed some light on this anomaly -
