Hi Arnold, 12.12.2013 00:05, Arnold Krille wrote: > Your firewall is dropping the drbd-packets. Yes, thank you very much. Indeed I did check it previously by stopping firewall on both nodes but forgot that SuSEfirewall2 was controlled by two services and stopped only one of them. Now the moment I stopped both services, the connection appeared, so I opened the 7789 port in the firewall. One thing is still unclear. While synchronization has not been over I closed the port again in both firewalls and restarted both services on both nodes. The connection state is now 'WFConnection' and it stays unchanged. Nevertheless I see the following in the tcpdump log: 14:15:47.861874 IP node1_IP.56158 > node2_IP.7789: Flags [S], seq 3219434664, win 14600, options [mss 1460,sackOK,TS val 216029844 ecr 0,nop,wscale 7], length 0 14:15:49.614887 IP node2_IP.34649 > node1_IP.7789: Flags [S], seq 2628729215, win 14600, options [mss 1460,sackOK,TS val 43285786 ecr 0,nop,wscale 7], length 0 14:15:50.949934 IP node1_IP.57124 > node2_IP.7789: Flags [S], seq 2378686731, win 14600, options [mss 1460,sackOK,TS val 216030616 ecr 0,nop,wscale 7], length 0 14:15:51.949880 IP node1_IP.57124 > node2_IP.7789: Flags [S], seq 2378686731, win 14600, options [mss 1460,sackOK,TS val 216030866 ecr 0,nop,wscale 7], length 0 14:15:52.702925 IP node2_IP.40895 > node1_IP.7789: Flags [S], seq 1410337889, win 14600, options [mss 1460,sackOK,TS val 43286558 ecr 0,nop,wscale 7], length 0 14:15:53.702878 IP node2_IP.40895 > node1_IP.7789: Flags [S], seq 1410337889, win 14600, options [mss 1460,sackOK,TS val 43286808 ecr 0,nop,wscale 7], length 0 14:15:53.953881 IP node1_IP.57124 > node2_IP.7789: Flags [S], seq 2378686731, win 14600, options [mss 1460,sackOK,TS val 216031367 ecr 0,nop,wscale 7], length 0 14:15:55.706886 IP node2_IP.40895 > node1_IP.7789: Flags [S], seq 1410337889, win 14600, options [mss 1460,sackOK,TS val 43287309 ecr 0,nop,wscale 7], length 0 14:15:57.957877 IP node1_IP.57124 > node2_IP.7789: Flags [S], seq 2378686731, win 14600, options [mss 1460,sackOK,TS val 216032368 ecr 0,nop,wscale 7], length 0 What does this exchange mean?
