Hi, We have 3 servers managed by a Ganeti installation that provide xen virtual machines on top of DRBD disks. Last week one of the servers rebooted itself at around 3am with very little in the way of information in the log files. The only possible error I can locate in the log files appears to be related to drbd but I cannot find any information about it after a considerable online search. /var/log/messages Sep 13 03:05:05 cloud3 kernel: [2505197.407135] frontend_changed: backend/vbd/4/5632: prepare for reconnect Sep 13 03:05:06 cloud3 kernel: [2505198.199078] frontend_changed: backend/vbd/4/768: prepare for reconnect Sep 13 03:05:16 cloud3 kernel: [2505208.653926] xen-br0: port 5(vif4.0) entering disabled state Sep 13 03:05:16 cloud3 kernel: [2505208.654004] xen-br0: port 5(vif4.0) entering disabled state Sep 13 03:05:17 cloud3 kernel: [2505209.639215] device vif6.0 entered promiscuous mode Sep 13 03:05:17 cloud3 kernel: [2505209.640540] xen-br0: port 5(vif6.0) entering forwarding state (Next messages are machine boot messages) Sep 13 03:07:29 cloud3 rsyslogd: [origin software="rsyslogd" swVersion="4.6.4" x-pid="1862" x-info="http://www.rsyslog.com"] (re)start Sep 13 03:07:29 cloud3 kernel: [ 0.000000] Initializing cgroup subsys cpuset Sep 13 03:07:29 cloud3 kernel: [ 0.000000] Initializing cgroup subsys cpu Sep 13 03:07:29 cloud3 kernel: [ 0.000000] Linux version 2.6.32-5-xen-amd64 (Debian 2.6.32-45) (dannf at debian.org) (gcc version 4.3.5 (Debian 4.3.5-4) ) #1 SMP Sun May 6 08:57:29 UTC 2012 I think the first two lines that refer to frontend_changed may be the issue - could anyone shed any light as to what it means?
