FWIW, based on our experience in direct point-to-point IB connections (no switching involved), DRBD-over-SDP often produced - little gains (if any) in throughput over IPoIB, - an actual increase in latency over IPoIB. The latter is somewhat counterintuitive, but I don't think anyone ever got to the bottom of it. So if you want to replicate over InfiniBand, my suggestion is that you just go with IPoIB, and use regular TCP sockets to replicate over. Just my two cents, though.
