The specifics depend on your setup. Try /etc/init.d/drbd status (and subsequently, "start"). If this isn't available: lsmod | grep drbd || modprobe drbd drbdadm up all If the DRBD configuration on your node B is broken in any way, this can go wrong in a number of exciting ways.
