In fact, it's a really really _bad_ idea to "wash" configurations, logs, etc. We've had numerous occasions where people hunted down "bugs" that didn't exist because a poster meddled with the configuration before they posted. Post your configurations unmodified. This is a public mailing list. You get support for free from the community. Confidentiality is not something that can be guaranteed here. Same goes for IRC or configuration snippets you post on pastebin. If you need a problem fixed under a confidentiality agreement, then you'll have to shell out some bucks to hire a consultant from a professional services company.
