Disconnect will "interrupt" it. The next verify after the next connect
"should" usually start from where the last one left off.
Other than that, you can only throttle the rate at which it tries to do
the verify. Rate settings for verify are the same as for resync, so
syncer { rate, c-min-rate, c-max-rate, c-plan-ahead ... }.
