[DRBD-user] Identifying High iowait on DRBD Computers

iotop does not work on my system. I think the kernel's too old. But I've
used a number of methods based on setting /proc/sys/vm/block_dump=1 and
looking for READ|WRITE|dirtied messages in the dmesg ring buffer. It
looks like kjournald is the biggest cause of disk IO by far.
