How are you starting DRBD? Are you not using the stock initscript? This is what would happen if you do "drbdadm connect" but fail to "drbdadm attach". That, or the attach failed for a different reason, see your kernel logs. Don't do either attach or connect during normal operation. Alway activate your DRBDs by "drbdadm up". HTH, Felix
