DRBD did not eat your data; you've thrown it away...

There is no correct procedure for what it sounds like you were trying
to do.  DRBD only allows one device to be primary at a time (aside
from rather more advanced cases involving clustered filesystems).
This means you do not create a filesystem on web001.

You need to *thoroughly* understand sections 1 and 2 of the
Introduction before you plan your deployment:

Then, as it appears you've already successfully installed DRBD, you
need to follow these directions step-by-step:

http://www.drbd.org/users-guide-emb/ch-configure.html

At the end you will have a filesystem you can use *either* on web001
*or* on web002, but not both at the same time.
