Hi Listers, I am trying to compile the latest drbd tarball ( 8.3.8.1 ) on our s390x machine. It appears the compile worked, but I get 2 warnings on the "configure" and 2 on the "make". The "configure" warnings are: configure: WARNING: No dpkg-buildpackage found, building Debian packages is disabled. configure: WARNING: Cannot update buildtag without git. You may safely ignore this warning when building from a tarball. The "make" warnings are: In file included from drbdsetup.c:57: unaligned.h:11:2: warning: #warning "Assuming that your architecture can not do unaligned memory accesses." unaligned.h:12:2: warning: #warning "Enabling extra code for unaligned memory accesses." It looks like I can ignore the "configure" warnings but should I be concerned about the "make" warnings ? We are running SLES10-SP3 on am IBM z10 ( s390x architecture ). Kernel release is 2.6.16.60-0.54.5-default.
