Hi, I am seeing a weird issue with the sync speed as reported in /proc/drbd ... [==>.................] sync'ed: 18.1% (1258325/1535953)M finish: 3:03:47 speed: 116,824 (111,092) K/sec ^^^^^ @111 MB/sec , 1.5 TB should xfr in ~30 min , yet it's saying hours ! I xfr'd files over the NFS @ 130 MB/s using the same replication link, during DRBD sync, vnstats reports: average 3.09 MB/s | 116.48 MB/s so the link is good. hdparm clocks my array's buffered disk ( not cache ) speed at 380 MB/s , so the problem is not the array. I'm quite puzzled here... Anyone has an Idea why this is happening ? kmod-drbd82-PAE-8.2.6-2 drbd82-8.2.6-1.el5.centos centos 5 2.6.18-92.1.22.el5PAE #1 SMP Tue Dec 16 12:36:25 EST 2008 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux Thanks ! -- Daniel Bourque Sr. Systems Engineer WeatherData Service Inc An Accuweather Company
