Hello, lvm doesn't support write barriers, but plain old ext3 on a device mounted with -o barrier=1 does. In the drbd8.pdf documentation it seems that drbd does indeed support write barriers, but in a message at Sep 12, 2008, 10:15 AM on this mailing list, it seems drbd does not. Does drbd support write barriers? If not (because it cannot guarantee the other side supports write barriers), why is it that we know the local side supports write barriers? Thanks a lot.
