Hi Lars, If you have BBUs in the raid card then try adding the following to the disk section: no-disk-flushes;no-md-flushes; What is the MTU set to on the LAN connection? Also in the syncer section try "cpu-mask 1" and "cpu-mask 5". The NUMA based architecture of Opteron boards means the CPU directly connected to the Raid card bus is usually faster. Hope this helps, Rob -----Original Message----- From: drbd-user-bounces at lists.linbit.com [mailto:drbd-user-bounces at lists.linbit.com] On Behalf Of Lars Täuber Sent: 19 January 2009 10:33 To: drbd-user at lists.linbit.com Subject: Re: [DRBD-user] slow sync speed of 12TB over 10GE Hi Robert, "Robert Dunkley" <Robert at saq.co.uk> schrieb: > Hi Lars, > > What are you using to interconnect the two DRBD systems? Loss of half of performance seems excessive. I usually get about 95% of the arrays sustained write performance and multiple arrays can synch at once without penalty. I use 10GEthernet.
