yes.

if it was "UpToDate" in v08,
it should be marked as "Consistent" in v07.

as long as generation counters don't differ,
and both are consistent, there is no sync,
and you can choose whichever you want to promote.

it's been a long time since I back-converted,
but I think that is how it is supposed to be.

if they have not been equivalent before the meta data downgrade,
you have to intervene and help drbd 0.7 by choosing the one you know to
have better data, and promote that one first using the "--human" flag.
or something like that...

but as long as the data is the same on both nodes,
it does not matter.
