I found the following link http://www.gridvm.org/drbd-lvm-gnbd-and-xen-for-free-and-reliable-san.html and I thought I should give it a try, but without XEN (does it make sense?).
I configured everything, mounted a GFS filesystem and tested shutting down the primary machine. Heartbeat automatically exported de secondary device so I could keep writing to it, but when I decided to umount, umount.gfs complained that the filesystem was not GFS.
Have you tried this? Have you had this sort of issues?
