I was using DRBD in a 2-node cluster, primarily for redundancy. Our Data Storage needs have outgrown our need for redundancy and I now need both nodes of the cluster to function independently. I don't know how much overhead is added to the storage subsystems by DRBD but would like to remove the DRBD layer from the mix on the old primary node if possible. Is there a way to remove DRBD and reclaim the low-level device without reformatting would be my only question. At this point I do not have a spare server capable of holding all of the data from the old primary while I reformat, and I would rather not have to take the time to do a complete backup of 2.7TB and then restore after a reformat. (It's actually more of taking the time to restore since we do make regular backups of the data.) Is there an easy way to do what I need? (Should probably mention the old primary is running the 0.7 code.) Thanks, Brent Davidson
