Dear DRBD, Applogies if this message hits the mailing list twice. I have completed an online devise verification, which seems a very useful feature. I wonder if it may be possible to help me understand the output? _Primary_ drbd0: Online verify done (total 8222 sec; paused 0 sec; 98072 K/sec) drbd0: Online verify found 2 4k block out of sync! drbd0: helper command: /sbin/drbdadm out-of-sync drbd0: Writing the whole bitmap. drbd0: drbd_bm_total_weight: (!b) in /usr/src/drbd-8.2.5/drbd/drbd_bitmap.c:429 drbd0: writing of bitmap took 20 jiffies drbd0: 8 KB (2 bits) marked out-of-sync by on disk bit-map. _Secondary_ drbd0: Online verify done (total 8222 sec; paused 0 sec; 98072 K/sec) drbd0: Online verify found 1 4k block out of sync! drbd0: helper command: /sbin/drbdadm out-of-sync drbd0: Writing the whole bitmap. drbd0: drbd_bm_total_weight: (!b) in /usr/src/drbd-8.2.5/drbd/drbd_bitmap.c:429 drbd0: writing of bitmap took 14 jiffies drbd0: 4 KB (1 bits) marked out-of-sync by on disk bit-map. Firstly, why am I 2 blocks out on my primary and 1 block out on secondary? Secondly, does the 'drbd_bm_total_weight' message need attention? Thirdly, this is a new array, only live two weeks and lightly loaded. Can you speculate what might be causing these bad blocks? Finally, this is just a personal request. If this command is run in 'cron' as suggested, can DRBD me made to email out a report after completion? I am running at 1000+ message plus in syslog (mainly from linux-ha) and am unlikely to notice messages requiring urgent attention. I also note the suggested "/sbin/drbdadm out-of-sync" does not appear in the man page, so I am not sure what this does.
