[DRBD-user] update Centos 5 with DRBD

Note: "permalinks" may not be as permanent as we would like,
direct links of old sources may well be a few messages off.

When we first started out installing/testing we managed to get into the
same scenario, not taking into account that drbd and drbd82 (and the
corresponding kernel modules) are indeed different things.
my advice - remove *anything* drbd related and start over.

Hi Brian,

I have the same problem and I do not have (at least according do RPM)
two versions or drbd.

In my case: rpm -qa | grep -i drbd

You can't have both "drbd" and "drbd82" packages installed (the
former is
drbd 8.0, the latter is drbd 8.2). Remove one or the other - to
be safe,
remove them both then re-install one.
Ditto for the kernel modules, kmod-drbd and kmod-drbd82 (and
their variants,
	e.g. kmod-{drbd,drbd82}-xen, kmod-{drbd,drbd82}-PAE)
