Hi Daniel we run drbd with Centos5.2. Our install notes have these steps in this order : 1. Install CentOS 2. Run yum update 3. Reboot to activate the new kernel 4. yum install drbd82 kmod-drbd82 xfsprogs kmod-xfs 5. Go on to configure everything The "yum install" pulls down these RPMS : drbd82-8.2.6-1.el5.centos kmod-drbd82-8.2.6-1.2.6.18_92.1.6.el5 Which are the latest versions. I can now run "yum update" on these boxes, currently nothing needs updating. Baffling however unrelated to your issue I think although worth mentioning. I would think you've probably got both drbd and drbd82 RPMs installed.
