I am using DRBD to mirror a 1 terrabyte device. I will be syncing over a gigabit switch so I assume I can use 100M to 150M as a rate safely. There will be other traffic on the switch. However I do not seem to understand how the al-extents parameter is used. Most examples leave it set to 257 and that is good for an active set of 1 Gig. Could someone explain what the active set implies AND what are the pros/cons of increasing the active set size or do I need to woory about. thanks Doug -- What profits a man if he gains the whole world yet loses his soul?
