Not sure about this but even 8tb would be acceptable.

This is the only reason i'm looking into replication with DRBD.  We 
absolutely cannot have downtime for fsck.  Also ext3 will be upgradeable 
into ext4 and/or btrfs.

I thought XFS was good for large files?  We're doing everything from 
databases to mail servers to virtual environments on this storage system.

I'm definitely open to suggestions.
