The *relative* latency overhead of replication increases when using BBWC (Battery Backed Write Cache) on your "local disks", because the entity compared against (latency of "local disk") decreases ("percentages lie"). Of course, _overall_ drbd latency _decreases_ when using write cache. unfortunately there is no archive available of this webinar, as we had problems with the audio quality and then with the recording. hopefully we can sort out these problems soon. we expect to put online a recording of the next session. -- : Lars Ellenberg : LINBIT HA-Solutions GmbH : DRBD®/HA support and consulting http://www.linbit.com DRBD® and LINBIT® are registered trademarks of LINBIT Information Technologies GmbH __ please don't Cc me, but send to list -- I'm subscribed
