NULL pointer dereference in some "older kernel version"
compatibility wrapper function, where "older" is <= 2.6.18.
we fixed it already, fix will be included in 8.2.1.

meanwhile, there is a work around:
 configure some
	net { shared-secret "arbitrary string here"; }
