Thanks so much for the tips. Now I just need to test MySQL 5 to be sure it
doesn't break all of our apps before making the jump. ;-)

As Jeff points out, that will work.  I would boot into single user mode
to build and install drbd, start the network and drbd to make certain
things are ok, and then resume the boot process.
